Our community sensitisation exercises are always so insightful. It is a chance for us to see, and learn how to reinforce our efforts to deliver access to quality education. Our sensitisation outreach in low income communities in Lagos and Abuja exposed us to many unfortunate realities. A huge number of the children living in those communities were out-of-school, but it was amazing to see their genuine desire to return to school. 

The communities visited include the Sheikh Gumi community, Garki and Egbado community in Abuja and Lagos respectively. 51 out-of-school children were identified and registered in the Ignite Africa Campaign where they will receive scholarships to return to school in September!
