The Ignite Africa Jam is our annual benefit concert that uses the power of music to raise awareness and inspire positive action towards our cause of providing a sustainable education system in Nigeria. Our first edition was held in September 2021 at Biergaten Jockel in Berlin and it was a huge success!
We had over 300 attendees, including incredible musicians from across Berlin who helped to amplify the need for a more sustainable education system in Nigeria. The event was sponsored by Nudge NL as our prize for winning the Nudge Global Impact Award in June 2021.
The concert was inspired by our project, the Ignite Africa Campaign, which is focused on providing a community-based STEM innovation center in Lagos, where street children can learn science and technological skills such as coding and design for free. Proceeds from the concert will go towards this project, and we are excited to see the positive impact it will have on the lives of street children in Nigeria.
